Wow, I have been so ridiculously busy this summer! On top of enrolling and getting ready to move to another state for college, I've been doing a lot of movies, tv show pilots, and commercials. Recently, I've worked with William H. Macey and Gray Fredrickson (producer of the Godfather) and have learned a lot about working in the film industry. And I've realized, as much as I love the immediate-ness and frequency of jobs to audition for in camera acting; nothing can replace that surge of opening night or the journey to putting a show together.
But enough of that, on to the main point of this article: I'm moving. YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!
I'm headed for Columbia, Missouri to go to an all girls school where I can work on my trade as an actress and learn all about becoming a successful performer. I'm very nervous and not looking forward to the new experience of having a roomate. I'm a twin, I've shared womb and room for about 17 years and am NOT looking forward to readjusting to co-habitation again.
That being said, I'll be very busy at this school and probably won't have ANY time to work on my drawings/comics the way I'd like to. (At least, that's what the school tells me) Doesn't mean I won't try though! I also still need to buy a new scanner since mine bit the dust. I'm going to see if I can borrow my dad's and scan a few things onto my 'puter before I beat it.
So that's my ranting, a little longer than I though it'd be, but oh well. Have a great summer and good luck to all of you when you go back to school!
